That was the first race I ever entered and the video does no justice to how gloppy the mud was that weekend. Somehow I must have thought crashing all weekend and needing to be hosed off at the end of each day was great fun because I started racing regularly after that. I suppose they are right; there IS something wrong with me.
Yep, cliffs on your side for 15-20 minutes. Also, I've never had a chance to watch a bell on someone's bars before. Kinda funny how that thing is flopping around so much. Nice video btw.
Thanks for the comments. The title was more of a joke poking fun at some of the Moar Shims/Moar Rox/BB too low/East Coast versus West Coast crap that gets posted all the time.
Definitely a fun trail with some exposure. There's a few parts where if you were to fall, it would not be good. But that makes it more fun.
That second video was from the GES race at Windham last year. Total slopfest. Watched someone plant a foot in a muddy, off camber corner on their race run and the mud sucked their shoe off. Finished the race with one shoe.
