Snohomish County has just confirmed funding for providing training of volunteers to conduct Natural Resources Inventory studies at Paradise Valley Conservation Area. Ecologists from King County Natural Resources and Parks will be doing the training. Unfortunately it is short notice as the dates for the training begin on the evenings of April 26and 27th to be followed by attending one of the two Saturdays in May (13th or 20th), then four additional dates between then and July 1.

If you have an interest in helping get Paradise reopened, or in learning and participating in this study, I would suggest you check your calendars ASAP and contact Tom Murdoch no later than Thursday April 20th to sign up for the project. Tom's contact info is at the bottom of this announcement. The final class materials will be ordered on Friday April 21st.

We are counting on you and hope to see you there.

Thank you.
