My medium VPX with a 40 came in at 39 lb, 14 oz. It had DeeMax wheels with UST tires (non DH Maxxis tires in 2.5/2.35), XT cranks, XT driveline, Thomson stem and post, same seat, and other light parts (XTR cassette).

With the fork in 8" mode, the head angle measured 66.5 degrees, and the bottom bracket height was a rather tall 14-3/4". I recently swapped out the 40 for a Totem 2-Step, and the specs stayed the same, except I dropped 4 ounces. The 40 is going on an M3 - I'm going to miss that fork on the VPX.
