I remember somebody posted how they moded their adjusters so they would clear their Fall Guy's down tube. Could someone direct me to that post or at least go through the process again?
Alright, its in the "24" of love sight, page 21 on the bottom. The problem is that fork is about 5 years old and is not the same as mine.
Dave, maybe your right, if all I have to do is take them off some how, awesome, but thats not a part that they make to come off with ease (as far as I can tell). Anyone care to explain it to me, or at least show me an exploded view of that cap so I can figure it out on my own. The last thing I want to do is break it and then be out of luck while I wait for a new one.
Oh, the pike cleared my MOB no problem. I've just heard that on Fall Guys that they have a problem. We will see when it gets here, but I want to be prepared.

By 409 you mean an Argyle? I like that fork, I just have a Pike already, its lowered, and I'm not looking to drop more money (though I confess that I've been looking a little).
You can get the different caps and what not worse comes to worse. Such as the floodgate adjuster that is turned with an Allen, so its hidden. And you can just set your travel and take that thing off completely I'd presume, since theirs nothing super important is covers or anything (just tape over it...).
Ive got a new FG on the way too. I tried a 409 on the old FG and it was a SUPER tight fit with the flood gate cap removed. Not much more than around 3mm's or so.
Boxxer, am I right assuming that to remove the cap you just loosen that allen on the side? And then there will be a little skinny metal post sticking out? And that cleared by 3mm, or did you knock that down (and does that sit as high as my 454)
