So after watching the bombers fly over while kayaking this morning we went over to livermore airport to see the warbirds up close. Met two pilots who flew these planes in WW2 over Germany. I shook their hands and thanked them for my freedom.

If you ever get the opportunity to fly in one of these, DO IT. Donate the money to them, you won't ever forget it. I flew in a Boeing Stearman when I was 16 and it is something I'll never forget.

The fact that some of these planes are still flying is plain old awesome. Even more so considering the majority of them are restored and maintained by volunteers.
