I'm about to place an order from CRC and was wondering if anyone is using a medium RRP neoguard on a Boxxer since I've heard that the Larges are slightly too big depending on how slammed your crowns are.

I have a medium on my 2010 Boxxer and it works fine.I did cut the middle velcro out of the lower part because it was always buzzing my tire and driving me nuts.

Would you recommend a M or L though?

I would recommend an old tube and some zip ties. You can make it any size you want. And it's practically free.

I would go with a medium a large would be to big and fold over into the tire.Yes a cut innertube works fine as well,you can even add grommets to make it look real sharp.

i have a large and i put it over the brake line of the front brake so it keeps it from getting sucked into the tire when the fork sits into it's travel. works great.

Medium... large is too long and gets sucked into the tire where it gets eaten.....

I've been running it for about a year now and I much prefer it over the vorskin type guards. It works just as well and keeps your stanchions cleaner.
