Just a quick question. If you are putting Maxxis Minion DHF on rear as well as front, which direction should it be? Lot of tires are flipped when you put on the back. Is this the case w/ Minion DHF, or same direction as the front? Thanks in advance.

the same direction. Otherwise, the ramps and braking edges would be backwards. The tires that they say to flip them for are XC tires where the tire designer assumes that the rider can spin the rear tire. I don't know too many people that have an acceleration traction problem on a DH bike.

I have a dhf on the rear of my uphill bike. It's facing forward. It has good climbing traction this way. I haven't noticed it being any worse than the dhr it replaced.
