I'm riding a flipped Syncros FR stem for 2nd season. Cheap, stiff and low. Not sure how low you want to get, but spacing out a solo air Boxxer to 180-190mm would help too.

WOW. What is the recent obsession with teeny tiny contact surfaces on critical control parts? This and the Twentysix Point One are prime examples.
I mean, its a stem, not a bikini! (Only one is meant to come off.)
Probably the same reason we don't roll with 3.0 Gazzas and Double wide rims anymore.
Have you thought of mounting a non DM stem under the top crown? I saw a pic once of a Thomson 50mm mounted under the top crown, not only did it achieve the desired lowering of the front end but it looked the dogs bollox too.Pretty self explanatory, what's the lowest non direct mount stem you can get? Needs to fit oversized bars, so no Funn SMX, what else is there?

Obviously the type of fork/crown you run will impact on this set up but worth consideration.

The Renthal stem might be a contender, if you run it flipped.
