I was seeing a spawning ground for MEGA PIRAHNA...
the pool in my complex has looked like that for the last week. i think they prolly tried once and gave up. I think i'll introduce pirhannas

Dude. Going from scummy water to clear water just by using chemicals does not equal clean water.
I wouldn't get in that.
Empty it and start again. Do this each season. I empty and refill my Jacuzzi 3 or 4 times a season. Granted, your pool is bigger, but that's the price of having a pool.

Well what do you think happens when you close a pool down for the winter?
At least this time I had the cover on it for the winter. Last year the previous owner didn't cover it so I had tons of leaves and pine needles to haul out. hopefully it will be easier this time.....
