I've been out of riding for a few years now, but I'm getting back into it. Can anyone give me some advice on a frame to consider? What I'm looking for is about 7 to 8 inches of travel and a fairly low bb. I would prefer a 2.5to1 or better shock stroke ratio,because I'm a heavy weight at 250 pounds. The last bike I rode before I quit was the last version made of the bb7 which I loved. I have no idea where to start looking for a frame or bike now. I will be riding mainly DH.

I think any bike with a 3:1 leverage ratio or lower should be fine for ya.
The Foes Fly 2:1 has the tavel and leverage you want, I don't know about the BB height though. I do believe it is adjustable.

Low BB (13.9"), low leverage ratio, and great geo.

I saw the tubing they're using for it today...it's hot. A beautiful trans-red color. The yellow/green isn't as pukey as it looks in the renderings, either...

It would look tits with a Boxxer WC.
