This summer a dude died riding one of the local trails. Not a terribly technical place but has gotten loose and rocky over the years so it isn't too difficult for things to get away from you. Details were fuzzy on what happened, the word on the street now is that it was a simple fall, uncapped handlebar took a core sample of his leg, severed an artery and he bled out. He had a friend with him, but couldn't get help in time. Can't help but think a little basic first aid could have prevented this. Luckily I always have a tourniquet like device in my Heroine kit.

slyfink that is how it used to be and eric nice ride.

I went did 20 KM on the mtb with ~1000 ft climbing took off a bit of time cleaned a wall for paint then did an hour in the trainer on my fixie following this climbing regiment then followed that with 30 minutes of yoga. Get at being against me this summer.
