apparently he got into a spiders nest during our walk yesterday and was bitten 4 times on his cheek. He's on antibiotics and seems to be doing really well, but DAMN, i feel like a dick for not being able to protect him. BTW, this look WAY better than it did when I brought him home.

Was walking my dog up in the hills when he came running to me covered in wasps. After brushing them off him, we still had to head down to get back home about 2 hours away. Not a pleasant thing to happen. Kept an eye on him the entire way back. He was not a happy dog.

When I was doing some ER 'volunteering' for my EMT-B, a dude came in with the same thing on his thigh. The result was the same too...just a bit less drawn out and intense. That kind of stuff is pretty cool imo. Guess I'm strange.
