I actually love the shape of the helmet and all those vents keep me from overheating which I'm prone to. Nice and lightweight too. Thanks for the comments Monkies!

So is this the first time you've painted flames?in which good attempt..or have you done many?

My $0.02 not being a interweb A-hole but a fellow flame sprayer...I'd say loosen up on some of the lines/and or come back through with black and break up/take back a few areas...other than that you've got pretty well nailed, great job.

Are you clearing between colours?

This was my first time painting fire. I did go over the flames with my basecoat black to remove some of the areas I didn't like.
I used Auto Air water based paints which I heat set between coats with a heat gun. The clear is just a rattle can as this helmet was done for practice.
