there's an article on Cyclingnews.com about it...
http://www.cyclingnews.com/tech.php?id=tech/2006/newarrivals/10-16

there's a line that says "Touted benefits mirror those of UST for mountain bikes: lower rolling resistance, a larger contact patch, and fewer flats."

the "lower rolling resistance, a larger contact patch" line confuses me. it seems counterintuitive. i don't know much about tubeless systems, or their claimed benefits, though. someone want to explain?

An answer to a question no one asked.

But don't listen to me, I'm still running tubulars on half of my wheels.
"Glue-on tires???"

We have not spent time yet on the road tubeless tires but we will soon as we get the 10 spd grouppo in. It's very nice of Shimano to make the Dura-Ace tubeless wheelset 10-spd Shimano (only) compatible. Rich.

On the other hand, if you have any questions about the MTB Tubeless line-up, we have raced and rode on them quite exclusively. :p
