I just saw
.

Shortly after, i found myself about to buy some rods on ebay, but after a second thought i decided to ask the wise monkeys about their experiences with it.
Please don't be shy and let me know anything you may know about this supposedly wonderful miracle maker.

( I live in Chile, so ordering it becomes far too expensive to just "buy and try")

The problem with repairing aluminum alloy is that heating it to use this product can cause changes to the alloys metal characteristics(strength, brittleness, etc). I probably wouldn't use it for repairing any heat treated aluminum.

That said, it sounds like a good product for some repairs, there are probably a half a dozen times I could have used it in the last couple of years . I don't have any personal experience with this product, but I might order some.
