Do you need the hone hub to use the hone rear mech?

Would a DT Swiss 340 hub axle be the same stylie axle or is there any other hubs with same design>?

You can totally use a different hub. The DT 340 will work, you will just have to use the Saint axle to mount the derailleur. Lots of people have done this with Formula hubs and any other Thru Axle hub.
