I run a small sized Santa Cruz Bullit, which I bought in 2005. The fork I have on it is the 2006 Marzocchi 66rc2x. There is a clearance issue with the downtube and the side of the fork's crown, just on the outside edge. This prevents the fork from being turned all the way around. The original headset I was using was a Chris King. I wanted to try out the Cane Creek S3 plus 5[http://www.canecreek.com/s3_plus_5.html] to see if the longer lower cup would help with the clearance issue. The new headset didn't fix the fork crown to downtube contact, though it did give me a few more degrees of turning.
I will try making a small rubber bumper of sorts to put on the downtube area.
