I've been moving up the learning curve, trying to learn to do my own service on my 36 TALAS III RC2. I've hit a few bumps in the road, but the service videos and step-by-step instructions on Fox's web site are spot-on. And I've had to call for parts and tech advice several times. Those guys are really helpful and have discounted prices and even sent me free parts!
