is there a headset that will use a full size 1 1/2 cup on the bottom and a 1 1/8 on top for a 1 1/18 steer tube fork? or just a reducer that fit over the for instead of the frame?

so you want external cups on both ends and have a tapered headtube? I know some FSA headsets use a wider diameter crown race like the Big Fat Pig 1.5R.

Cane creek will also sell you individual cups.

Nope, I think he's trying to go the other way, it sounds to me like he's got a 1-1/8" head tube with a tapered steerer. Sorry but I don't think that's going to happen.

No no, he has a tapered ht and 1 1/8 steer tube. He asking if there is a crown race adaptor to allow a 1.5 bottom cup to fit onto the skinny 1 1/8 steer tube. I think Chris King or Cane Creek make them. Maybe Cannondale? I'm pretty sure I have seen them in a catalogue but can't recall who makes them.

Oldfart has it right. I thing it will look silly if the is a 1 1/8 bottom cup in a big old 1.5 headtube bottom. Basically I want to put my 1 1/8 forks in a new Yeti dj without it looking to silly

Top part is a standard 1 1/8th headset. Bottom is 1.5 on the outside and 1 1/8th on the inside so it fits your frame and fork with no adapters.
