All this talk of "tacos" made me wanna fix some FT for dinner tonight. Anyone want to divulge their recipe? I make themm with talapia or Mahi, but lately I have been wanting a different sauce..
Then drink the milk? Sounds yummy. If you use tilapia, or catfish soak the filets in milk overnight to remove any impurities. They are both bottom feeders and this will improve the taste.
This but I would use tilapia or grill or blacken a firm fleshed fish with a nice rub. Siriacha or chipotle mayo also pairs well with the cabbage. We use local cod or haddock usually.
Either beer battered or grilled.
For a sauce try sour cream and siriacha or cholula mixed to taste.
Shredded cabbage, squeeze of lime and a quality corn tortilla and you're good to go.
Fvck, now I want fish tacos.
Papas does have great FT. I have only been to the one next to Kmart .The grilled chipotle fish tacos from across the street at Nachos and Beer are tit-tastic. Not as good as the Chorizo Torta...but whoa nelly!
So did you make fish tacos last night or not ffs?Papas does have great FT. I have only been to the one next to Kmart .
Tonight. I realized when I got home I was out of feesh. So did you make fish tacos last night or not ffs?
Across the street from my office on Hwy 74 in Reynolds. The old 50's style diner. He used to work at Papas and Beer, so you will love.Papas does have great FT. I have only been to the one next to Kmart .

Shrimp tacos >> fish tacos.Sorry, just got back from that town I rave about, Rocky Point, Mexico, and had some of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. Makes me want to go back already.
And if anyone here ever wants to visit Rocky Point, let me know, and I'll direct you to my parents. Yep, shameless plug......
I went to the store but Ortega doesn't seem to make a Fish Taco kit.
