Using "famous" in relative terms, there are some artists who had famous parents in certain circles. Read an article in Spin a while back where Jeff Buckley's old man was famous in the 60's, Nora Jones' pop's was a renowned sitar player and Nas' dad was a famous blues guy.

I don't know if you have ever seen Hank III live, but he is one of the greatest musicians I have ever seen.

His country stuff is catchy and thought-provoking. His punk stuff is nasty.

Gotta agree. I like his stuff, but he's not whom I'd consider a good musician.
