Does anyone make one that mounts to the direct mount front derailleur mount rather than the ISCG tabs? Seems like a no-brainer to me...

I don't need a bashguard. Just one of the small guides ala One-Up etc.

I made Endurbro DM for myself a few weeks ago. The idea had been bouncing around my head for a while to build a guide that could run a small ring and be shifted by hand. Injury led me to finally make one. I cut the shape for the back-plate from a Truvativ 38t chainring and drilled a few holes, tapped one and finished it with some filing. The guide was cut and shaped from an old E*thirteen. As an MmmBonus(tm), It holds a spare chainring bolt and nut. I call it the Hand-Me-Down (patent pending) and it allows me to climb in a 22t and descend in a 38t. I have a short cage derailleur so I use enough chain links to give me all 10 gears in the 38t, but only the lowest 5 (and the ones that don't overlap) in the 22t. This gives me a 565% gear step % (SRAM 1x 11 is 420% maaan) and 15 distinct gear ratios. The guide, chainring and all the hardware added about an ounce moar weightz compared to previous the setup (MRP 1x BBmount & RF NW 32t). I am able to get out and enjoy my local trails while I rehab my leg

Has anybody tried the Hope Slick Guide? I'd like another top guide only style one for my hardtail (currently running an unrideable guide-free setup)
