Ever been keen to try an endurance kinda Downhill race?? There was a "rally" Downhill race here in La Paz last weekend....They use the word rally here in Bolivia for long races....so a rally Downhill race is a really long DH race. The winning time was just over 31 mins!!! Racing Downhill on mainly rocky dirt roads so not hugely challenging for a DH racer....and there was some pedalling involved as well, but the course was not marked...so you could take whatever shortcuts you were game to try, just to make it interesting!!! I was not there to grab photos from the race...but this photo shows where the course was...those squiggles heading down into the valley...just look at all the shortcuts that you can take!!

These photos are from the DH race that we had out at Collana last weekend. Just a standard DH race, but Team Gravity again took out the top placings!!

It would be pretty hard to get the OK to rip down a hillside like that in the states....

Looks fun though!

Just found this as well....mega avalanche in peru....400 riders starting at a time, long course downhill with inca trails....fun fun fun, we will be going there for sure!!
