I never watch the xgames. It's the biggest "extreme" sport media whore that ever lived. I usually take note of the highlights but it's been a long time since I gave in to that one. There are just so many other competitions with equal or better skilled riders to enjoy. To here that DJ is out makes my point all the stronger.

Actually, this pisses me off. I was so excited when I moved to LA last year to actually be able to go to the bmx dirt comp. Looks like I attended the last one.

Maybe this will allow for more contests like the Elevation. Dirt jump comps are getting boring because the riders only do their banger tricks (fronts, backs, 720's, and 3 whips) every time. I'm not saying these aren't amazing but at Elevation this year Bohan won with style and not the "big" tricks. His 360 variations like his table one hander one footer and seat grab one footer looked better to me than a front flip. X Games are getting played out IMO.
