Looking @ purchasing a used 2003 Zulu Dh frame. Plan on using it @ Northstar for general DH riding, no racing. Any opinions of this frame ? Thanx

Good frame but the BB height too low. If you looking for jumping bike, that's not the one . Super low center gravity, Dh bike ride like dual salom bike. Perfect for Dh roller style, like rock garden & steep section. This bike not design for Dj or big drop. you should able to find one cheap.

As Moogieman said, low BB so you will slam pedals a lot (even 165s). What he didn't say is HEAVY. That frame is anything but light. It will also chew through shocks like crazy.

It rides really nice at speed, and carries momentum through rocks and such very well. It is a little long for technical east coast style stuff if you aren't used to it, so if that's what you ride, it may not be the best bet.
