I call dibs on the rifle.Died of injuries sustained while cleaning a gun?
(too soon?)
Quite a good movie I thought, but the other four in that series didn't live up to the first. Bad casting. But the one that came a few years ago was bloody good with extra worchester sause.I just saw part of Planet of the Apes on TV last night. Crazy movie, but he was a good actor.
I never gave a sh*t about his NRA affiliation.I'm glad I'm not the only one who's not broken up about this.
Until 2003.Well....he was old, not unexpected. Was he still head of the NRA?
<edit> Coming from a small town, when Clinton was in office a large portion of our town had bumper stickers that said "Charleton Heston is my President!"
I never gave a sh*t about his NRA affiliation.
I liked him as an actor.
I mentioned that movie last night, comparing it to the very weak I Am Legend.I just watched the Omega Man this week too..
RIP...
As soon as someone can explain why every citizen of this country should have the right to have an AK-47 without using the phrase "2nd ammendment", then I'll pay attention. Of course, all of them forget the phrase "well regulated" that was actually in the damn ammendment.
I like they way you put that, but I'm not really in favor of too many restrictions either. Besides the fully-auto ban of course.real AK47s are banned. in some states people can buy semi-auto rifles that look like Kalashnikovs, but they are not AK47s. The semi-auto versions are banned in California, Massechusttes, New jersey, Maryland, and some other states.
The way I look at it, if I'm okay with guys doing each other and weed being legal, then the other people shouldn't tell me what I own safely in the confines of my home.
BTW why does every person who hates guns loves to bring up phrases like "AK47", "Rocket Launchers", "Full auto assault rifles", "M16s" when in fact all of them are already regulated under NFA and GCA of 86? Do you guys even read the laws that are already in the books or just ranting without reading?
The Supreme Court sayz... You are correct!!!I don't think our gun rights will be going anywhere, especially for those of us who like to sport shoot and hunt with our "scary assault rifles." I don't think we have enough political stomach or momentum for another weapons ban, because the first one didn't do anything anyway. If you want to make sure our rights stay protected, write your governor or congressman and thank them for their 2nd amendment support, or show that you support the 2nd amendment. The people dictate what goes on in the government of this country, and I wish we knew that.
