There is a new part on the 05 888Rs compression damper which allows you to internally adjust the position sensitivity of the compression damper.
It does this by covering holes on the sides of the cartridge that bypass the compression shimstack in the 888R at diferent postitions in the forks stroke.
Basically the 05 888R can be adjusted internally from feeling like an 04 888R in the most progressive setting to a couple of more linear settings.
Go rides explanation is that that tuning the compression damping to make it more linear might be an advantage on steeper courses and should help with problems like brake dive.
The extra part in the 05 88Rs is available now for 04s.

Also there should be a tall drop crown option for bikes with longer head tubes for 05.
Hopefully Marz will redesign the lower crown so we dont have to shell out for aftermarket crowns to make the ride height reasonable (no rumours about this though).

The new crowns have been redesigned for lower ride hight. Check the 2005 kona pictures thread and you can kinda see it.
