seems no changes other than structural, prices have gone down slightly so the workhorse "team" model probably will have a 950ish MSRP in the states

same brake mounting
new upper crown with stem mount, RS isnt releasing any stem so its up to others to make boxxer stems (go figure..)
571mm axle to crown with +-5mm (thats 5-10mm less than an 888 with aftermarket crowns)
203mm travel


boxxer "ride"
uturn adjustable from 125 to 180mm
same structure as the team/race/wc
only rebound damping
all in all pretty much a 04 race with uturn (not hard to retrofit im sure)
price just over todays race, 700ish MSRP i guess.
3,26kilos (a bit heavier than the current race due to the new structure and uturn)


wc model
same as team but:
titanium springs
3,22 kilos (150g less)
slippery silver stanchions
no idea on msrp but seems its a carryover from this year

race model
no compression cartridge
7/8" adjustable
same msrp as last year


all in all, no changes internally save for the ti springs an uturn, but RS seems to have the lightest and cheapest and lowest 8" fork now that all the specs are released

o yea i forgot about the damping, rs has a new damper with technology from the 21st century for a change

no changes do the damping from what i could read, hc2 with rebound and hi/low comp damping.

well, at least it's the cheapest 8" fork. so now it has something going for it besides being light.

i like the idea of u-turn on a boxxer. about 18 months ago i thought of the idea of trying to retrofit a u-turn onto a boxxer, but then i stopped caring (i swear this is true).

I know for a fact that Steve Peat has been racing with a Race Face crown mounted stem. Lets hope that Marzocchi and RS end up with the same bolt pattern (and Manitou too).
