Thanks for the advice everyone.
I think i will go for the Avalanche as i have always liked there products.
As the craftsman ship is amazing and i prefer small indipendant companies too better
to support them than big companies.

Thanks for the links. Avy cart looks much the same externally. I hadn't seen the Bos cart, but it's the shim stack and piston head I'd like to see. And inside the air spring on the air sprung Idylles.
OP, do you know if the Avy cart you're looking at in the Boxxers have the mid stroke shims on the back of the rebound?

Elka shocks ship with adjusted valving for the rider. None of the big guys are.

If anyone wants a set up Avalanche fork that's not in a craptacular Boxxer chassis, I've got a 2012 888 Evo Ti with an Avalanche cartridge. I rode the whole fork only once and I no longer have a need for it. PM for details.

Seems like that combo might address the complaints above...
