ok ladies and gents

the search didn't help all that much...
anybody on here has some experience with the banshee scythe?

how tall are you and which size are you running?
what kind of riding do you do with it?
do you think it will work as a full on DH bike?
does it work ok with the stock DHX shock?

I use it as a for dh racing (no freeride). I'm 178cm tall and run a medium frame.
for the tracks over here the bike goes really well, head angle and bb feels good, though im running it on the 7 inch travel setting. I think if you were running it overseas maybe some of those k2 headset inserts might be a good idea to slacken the bike a little more.

I was running a dhx, was a nice shock, though got a good price on a elka which should be getting here in the next few days

i ran it b4 i got the legend.... and i loved it. loved the adjustability.as mentioned by lachy, get the K9 cups and run it @ 8".

i ran mine at 7' bu tfor the tracks here it was enuff. some of our team members is running a shorter shock (2.5") ad they love it. they are running Vectr HLRs and not the DHX5.

a great entry level DH/FR bike that has been raced at the WorldCups!!!
