If so just wondering how they are holding up. I was set on XT's but I can get xtr's for a little more coin. What do you guys thinnk?

Ridden them on a buddy's bike a few times now. They feel stiff, they're really light, but 3 weeks is not much of durability test period so far.

yea just put some on my all mtn bike. not sure about running them for DH. if you are thinking about it. i would really just feel safer on the XT cranks. everybody's doin it...
less to worry about.

i've been using the xts for dh and there class. I would be tempted to run xtrs as I was looking at the Atherthons bikes up close and in person and they seem to be running xtrs. Also Nico seems to be running custom xtrs for 83mm on his Lapierre.

At the Megavalanche last week I saw several Socom's in DH spec running XTR cranks, but nothing on durability yet

I dunno if I'd use Nico as a durability example, he runs some crazy setups, if you'll remember, he had dura-ace cranks on his mega avalanche bike for a while, and then there's his smooth factor.....

XT's and be done with it. XTRS are great but I rsn XT f-760's and no problems. Id rock em again if they made a 83mm bb.
