wondering if anyone is riding '07 fox forks, namely their Fox 32 line. i noticed new lower casting and beefier dropouts. hows the stiffness in comparison with a 20mm thru axle? considering running fox 32 vanilla or TALAS but don't want to lose too much in terms of stiffness

bike use is 4x / AM.

Feels slightly stiffer to me, but still flexy as **** on the gate. I have the 07 float. I was going to get the vanilla, but you can't adjust the travel on them anymore- what a shame!

I thought they changed the internals a little, so it ramps up a little more, through the travel. Providing less of a linier feel.

They upped the bottom out on the new 40, and I think the rest of the forks.

and its a shiney darker silver, less plastic looking.

they put in a new fit cartridge that will ramp the compression up at the end of the travel, giving it a more boxxerish feel.

i came off a 36 to a new talas on my 4x and the main reason i had a 36 was due to torsional flex in some burms at the local track. the new fork is nearly as stiff as the 36 and MUCH stiffer than the 02-06 32mm forks. im even running the 07 float on my DJ bike instead of the 36
