Yesterday we attended the Moisty ATH Extreme Challenge event, it was a kind of extreme sports festival with DH, skate, inline, bmx and paintball events.
My wife was recruited as a time keeper for the DH race and my son was going to participate if he could do the last section of the course, a wooden structure to tranny with a about 5 foot drop and about 8 foot gap, that was a first for him but right away he did.

This race only had 3 classes, he raced on the novice class (Cat 3) and his time was competitive with older riders, will take advantage of the off season to continue working on developing his speed.
