I'm buying a rear wheel with a hope bigun hub, and i'm looking for 5 bolt discs. are these readily available? where can i get them? the person selling says i should have no problem running hayes mags on these. what are the advantages / disadvantages (besides disc choice)?

well since Hayes are 6 bolt there is no way you're going to be able to run them. I know Hope makes 5 bolt but I don't think anyone else does. I would skip the sale if I were you and keep looking for the 6 bolt pattern which is infinitely more available....D

the seller says hes been running hayes on the hope rotors. is this unlikely? or not a good idea? the price is right, and im effin sick of 24".

I just bought a 5-bolt hayes style rotor from Hope directly about 2 weeks ago. No problem at all.

oh ok I get it...I thought you were saying you were going to run Hayes rotors....you can get compatible rotors from Hope but they will be your only source I think...D

Yep, you can get the proper rotors direct from Hope, better yet sells the Hayes and buy some......................................
