26, or 29? I ride....

26, or 29? I ride very little single track, and alot of rail trails. I ride for exercise, not for the thrill of being the first to hit a new downhill singletrack trail, like I did when I was younger. I don't know how the 29 will benefit me. How much steering do you loose??? It the 26 that much more technically better? Will I even notice it, even if I only do 300 miles per year anymore? Any and all help is appreciated.

Depends more on the specific model of bike than the wheel size.
