Can I run a thru axel in the hub I have??

Stock unsealed Specialized hub. I need a thru axel for my new fork.

No. Not possible

you could drill it out to fit a thru axle, but you wouldn't have anything resembling a functional hub left

okay well then I need to find a wheel that will fit that kind of axel. I'll check the classifieds. but what are some good cheap wheels with that set up?

Azonic Outlaws are always cheap on pricepoint, or cambria or some of the online places. But the Azonic has a 12mm rear so you will need to get a 10mm reducer axel from problem solves for the rear. That's the problem I ran into. My rear frame is only 10mm. The axel that Azonic supplied wouldn't fit.
