Hi all.

My Boxxer has some play in the spring leg, so I dissasembled it and discovered that the air piston moves up and down like 2-3mm without resistance and it makes a squeaking noise when it moves.

How can I fix this problem? Can I use the fork meanwhile or will it be damaged?

The thing that moves is at the right of the picture, the air piston, there is a wavy washer between it and the circlip and looks nice but does not seem to be enough to stop the piston movement.

Thanks.

you have to replace the wavy washer.
you can use a smaoll O ring instead.
Ok, I don't have the tool to remove the tiny circlip so maybe I can just pull the wavy washer out and put the o-ring by pressure.

Is there any problem if I use the fork like it is now? Can I damage the piston?
