I dont have the '08's but I did have the 2006/2007 model.
Personally, I hated mine.
They tended to roll around on my leg when I pedaled, and the straps chauffed on the back of my leg.
Also, they had a lycra sleeve, which makes putting them on mid-ride a pain. You have to take your shoes off to slip them on.
Personally, I really like the Fox Launch, and THE pads.

I love 661 stuff, but I tried there knee and shin, also tried rockgardn and the best are the Lopes TLD pads they just fit great give em a try.. But those new 661 elbow guards the neoprene ones they are like 90 bucks look like they fit great I am definelty gonna give them a try..
