No, I do not mean your weak horse-piss beer called Budweiser. :D

I meant mainstream perhaps. Like Stella Artois, Heineken...

Then again, maybe I'm taking European living for granted, being surrounded by amazing beers like Hoegaarden, Leffe, Grolsch. Hell, even 1664 is better than American beers!

The missus said "I can't drink tonight so I'll bring home a dark beer so I don't steal any"

She came up with this

Its from Turkey which I would not have expected. I like. 6.1% alcohol means I have a good buzz going on now too.

Why are you guys hooked on small boutique beers?
Whats wrong with mainline?

You basically answered your own question. "Mainstream" bears are pretty much all horse piss - including stella and heineken. Especially when compared all of the good micro breweries in this area.

Most of the mountain bikers I've met are the biggest beer snobs in the world and I thank God I've met them. :D

Last night after the EMRA 4hr at Summit Point, had a sampling of a couple good beers. Grotten Flemish Ale, Brassiere De Rocs Belgian Brown, a bottle of Rogue Double Dead Guy(holy hops), and we finished w/ a bottle of Rogue Old Crustacean(damn good barley wine). A great end to a wet and dismal day.

Cheers!

this evening its a stone ipa and a old skratch amber lager.yumm.
I go to Paso Robles a few times a week for work but I have yet to stop by the Firestone Brewery. I'm a big fan of their ales (pale's especially). I'm not much for Porters but I hear their's is good.
