Awesome! You don't see a lot of Empellas around, that's for sure.
No matching brakes! :)

Awesome and Euro!
Thanks! I wouldn't mind matching brakes, but it's hard enough to get them to not squeel like crazy even with brakes I can actually adjust.

Love this bike. I've had it for maybe 5 years. Stiff as hell (especially with the aluminum fork...) but feels good on road and trails.

As a side note, the bike looks way better with these new wheels than with the old hoops. With this frame, the more logos/decals the better.

Just finished building a commuting bike for my buddy Kenny. He splits his time between Brooklyn and Vegas, so a Fixie was out of the question (got to keep ahead of the trends...)

Built bombroof it is about 19 pounds. I made him go buy a big-ass lock...

If you have a case of 110 bcd Superchargers, what else ya going to do with them? That bike is running an inner stop and outer plate system for chain retention. I could have likely thrown something else on there, I suppose.

I think we are just building frames for the team and a few really special dealers. Otherwise, we won't be able to ship the frames until October.... We are trying to hussle it up.....

(edit)
Or maybe not....

Sweet rig Sus-sus-SuspectDevice! I am building something like that right now using a Surly CC frame and a couple mtb/bmx parts. I'm using the same pedals, lite shyt right there.

After some tweaks and changes, the re-built 585 Ultra.
I had SRAM Force on there, but my other bikes have DA, so I didn't really want to be switching back and forth, so I took the Force off.
I think this bike has every EC90 part that Easton makes, and it's super-light. My Colnago feels like a tank compared to this thing! TRP's new machined brakes, still dual-pivot, so far they feel pretty decent, but time will tell.
The parts are living here for now, but will eventually be swapped over to a Colnago CX-1 once they become available.
Anyone want to buy a never-used Force kit? ;)

Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
Awesome ride stink... I'm sure you'll drive James into something even newer and more extravagant. ;)

Now get the tire labels lined up with the valves, n00b.

EDIT:

I expect better from you ire. Strip the tires and get it right.

Kind of hard to do with tubulars though, is the only thing...

And yes, dammit, now I need to go out and spend like $10,000 building a super-sick CX bike or something!
:)
No new bikes for me for a little bit, but I have some new parts of one of them, I'll post it up later this week...

WOW! Gorgeous! Both of em. Who build the lighter shaded one? You?
I dont know who is responsible for the lighter shaded one, but it is a one off. The bamboo one is a Calfee, which after experimenting with bamboo myself can appreciate how much effort Calfee puts into his rigs.

New Felt.
F95, which is actually the cheapest road bike we make at $849 retail, but I was after the frame.
After stripping everything but the headset (which will be replaced with better bearings this week) and building it back up, I managed to drop about 6.5lbs off of it! The frame is actually a pretty decent little alloy number. I guess we have a slightly nicer alloy frameset we offer, but it's not in stock and I was after the "team" look as it'll probably match my F1SL when I get it.
Parts were stuff I had laying around, I think it came out pretty damn stealth. Would have been nice if the fork was matte, but for now no biggie. I'm kind of sick today otherwise I would have gone out for a nice spin, so hopefully tomorrow I won't have the shakes.
It's nice to be back on alloy again!

16.66lbs as it sits here, with pedals. Stock is advertised at 21.28lbs in a 56, no pedals. Mine is a 58cm.

i wish i had some of the parts stuff you have lying around!!!

bastard!! LOL!!
Side effect of my career choice.
But no arguments from me honestly! :)

Thanks Ire, I'm pretty chuffed with the outcome, honestly. It'll make a nice accompaniment to the F1SL I'll hopefully have in the next couple of weeks...
