Two very nice rides. How long have you had the spooky? Mine has cracked on the top/downtube gusset but its realy old.

im still wondering tho, id go with a hayes up front as well, to get the same feel up front as at the rear.. i dont like levers with different feel, reminds me of v-brakes..

hi, thanks for the comments, i just like the xt front brake heaps, if i could have a rear xt i would do it, im looking at having a floating brake mount made up so might get an xt then

and ive had the spooky for about a year or two, but its been in the country for god knows how long, it was sitting at the importers for years, so I am told!

Hey, I think the xt is a fantastic brake, such a light touch with amazing power, yet not grabby. just a real smooth powerful brake, it also looks awesome and has a super comfy lever!
