Anyone have any riding time on the new Marzocchi Moto rear shock?

I'm currently running a CCDB on my Demo 8 and getting tired of having the oil get destroyed after six months of riding.

Anyone ridden one yet? Any idea if it will fit the Demo 8?

What do you mean by the oil getting destroyed?
In my experience CCs used to get airy sooner than other shocks because of poor seals (and airy factory bleeds), however they updated the seals a while ago and they seem to have improved. For a given amount of damping the oil shouldn't really cop anything more than any other shock - after all, damping is just the conversion of kinetic energy into heat for the most part. As for the oil itself, they use an Ohlins shock fluid - it should be adequate.

Can't comment on the Marzocchi item but after seeing every Roco in existence leak, I'd probably hold out for some reviews. It does look nice though and it's very light!

Maybe it is getting airy. After roughly 20 days of use the it loses almost all rebound damping.

I had a couple of ROCO's and they never leaked. I wasn't terribly happy with the rebound adjustment but overall they felt okay.

I wish I could get confirmation the C2R fits the Demo or not.
