August 16th edit: Contest closes tomorrow, August 17th, at midnight. Get your entries in to win! Even if you don't think your photo will win, submit it anyway so we can show Teva that Ridemonkey is a pretty kickass community and we can round up participation when it's needed.

I'd love to hit 200 entries tomorrow.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

We need your help on a big push as this contest hits the closing days. The grand prize is worth nearly $2,000.00 now - including a thousand bucks in cash. If that's not incentive, I don't know what is. You can enter up to 10 times, so take advantage!

We want to show Teva that the community can really show active involvement - that gives them incentive to do contests or giveaways in the future.

I know, it's Facebook. We're going to try to run all future contest through Ridemonkey, but for now, it takes 5 minutes to sign up for an account if you don't have one and you can close it after the contest.

    Submit your photo here.

    Thanks, and good luck!

No, there is a contest submission screen you get taken to that will prompt you to upload your photo and caption it. Then, you win these:

Click the Enter to Win button; it'll lead you to a page where you can title and describe your entry, and upload a file.

    Nice shoes, bizutch!

Oh please. Get a few beers in you and you'd do it for a twenty and a couple lines.

$2000 is not enough to get me on Facebook.

You running a perfectly good social network site and try to get your users to sign up on facebook, basically a competitor????

$2000 is not enough incentive to set up a temporary account, used for nothing but entry into a contest?

I guess that's fair, but 10 minutes of my time is worth $2k. You must make more than I do :D

I'd argue that Facebook is a compliment to forums, not entirely a competitor. But in any event, the feedback has been heard and I understand that this has limited participation somewhat.

For those that can overlook this to help out the site they use for free every day, I appreciate it :monkey:

Glad that you see it this way. For your (and RM's) sake I hope Facebook sees it the same way.

BTW: it is not about the money, some people have principles. Or would you sell me your daughter/wife/GF if I offer you enough? ;)

Bump for the end of the contest - get those photos in.

Whatever it is - gear, parts, bikes, or people - if it's beat up, it qualifies. Let's see if we can hit 200 entries before the close of the contest tomorrow!
