Glad to hear of two instances that worked out alright, sort of.

Mine's still working great. For now...

Mine has also been back for warranty service for a different issue. Super quick turnaround and happy with the service.

saving for a KS integra dropper post, as my next upgrade.

in the meanwhile, i am on the 5th month on the cheap-o cable actuated T mars dropper post (gravity dropper clone) no issue so far, straight forward, hi and low setting.

the remote switch can be pushed or pull, can be mounted on the left or right side of the handle bar, i prefer left side and pushing it down.

*If it gets really dirty and sloppy, i just simply dismantle the dropper post using allen keys and re-grease it.

one the negative side, the seat clamp has a play, but you don't feel it when riding.

When I get the KS integra, thinking of drilling a "exit hole"on the seat tube of 2010 meta 55, and route the cable under the down tube, and use the front derailleur cable holders, for a clean look.
the set up is already 1 x 10.
