So I know next to nothing about bikes, but I'm looking to buy a nice-ish DH bike. I came a across a 04 Giant Team listed with these specs
"04 Giant DH Team
2010 rockshox boxxer world cup in like new condition,
Avalanche dhs rear shock with two different springs,
Easton havoc dh handlebars,
Avid code r front and rear brakes,
Azonic outlaw wheelset,
Answer - one drop stem,
Evil chain guide,
Maxxis minion tires,
The bearings were just replaced last year."

He's asking 900$ OBO, and I was hoping someone could give me some insight if this is a good set up/deal or not?

I rode an 03 Giant DH team until about 05..

It was actually a good bike although Im sure the geometry is pretty dated compared to new bikes..

I loved the way it handled although I used to prefer a short top tube and a relatively steep headangle..pretty much the opposite of what I prefer nowadays..definitely put in some fast runs on that thing though...only downfall was I went through a few linkages by smashing them on rocks..doubt they are available anymore..
