Vivid Air drops 400g from the coil. I had the pleasure of riding one this summer, and it feels absolutely fantastic. Durability will be less than the coil, but expect it to remain quite sturdy.
The Vivid Air uses Rock Shox's new Hot Rod Technology, which reduces fade in the rebound of travel.
It will come in two models, the Vivid Air R2 and the Vivid Air R2C.
