That was a trip. Getting asked "what would you like to ask Donald Trump" blind sided me a little bit.

Our part was filmed at a local studio; we sat in front of a camera and listened via earpieces until they asked us questions.

Oh shit, they're building hipster commuter bikes next. :D

Is that really true......1 of only 4 bike fabricators working in house?

I'm thinking foes and ventana are two?
Is intense all over-seas production now?

A 120-125mm 29" with 65-66HA and a 12.8-13.2BB would be great. Maybe not for you but they could do a one off with Hobbit sized hoops.

1. Alchemy
2. Independent Fabrications
3. Bicycle Fabrications?

Oxide Cycles to name another. That stat is only true if they used some magic to weed out a lot of the smaller ones out there.

If not perfect, at least the stat gets across to the lay viewer that few bike companies do in-house production anymore, which is true (and sad IMO).

That bullet point is another example of how things morph when they go into the media. Usually, we explain the situation with a paragraph of info, which will end up as a five word bullet point once it hits the media. So, of course many of the details, that everybody here knows, get truncated and some things get massaged for what @4130biker mentioned above: it gets the point across to the average viewer.

^I thought it was hilarious that they asked you if government helped or hindered more and you surprised them by saying helped. Only a libertarian fool would say otherwise. Roads, schools, police, army. These are only four of the most basic things supplied by government that no business could operate without. Your answer gave ever better details accounts of how local government helped you get set up. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

Oh do tell us about all about the "camping trip." More like a swanky, exclusive press release rife with the who's who of MTB, escorts, white powder, etc. As if just any random dude could buy a ticket to Moab and ride with the company brass, see the latest prototypes etc... How stupid do you think we are on RM?

Best not to answer that last part, but do tell us about the Pedalhead.

That's the first Pedalhead, and the second one is being built now to finalize geometry. We don't have the production tubing yet, as it's all custom made for us, so the prototypes are made with off the shelf rectangular tubing that's pretty hefty.
Geometry on that first one was actually pretty good, so I don't think we need to make any large changes. However, the second one will have a little different BB height and reach for fine tuning. The chainstay is really short, the seat tube is straight and steep. Those tires are 27.5x3.0, and we also designed it to fit 29x2.5.

I like it overall, but it will obviously need to be painted appropriately to appeal to the intended audience -

I would also consider changing the name to any one of the following:

* En Fuego
* The Roman Bath
* The Liberace
* The Faaabulous!
* The Manhole

Thee nu "PEDALHEAD" heardtail 650b+/29er is available for pre-order! http://ridegg.com/pedalhead-deposit

SmashMoly Tubing sounds rad! This very well could be my next hardtail. Yall are very keen for offering this frame with both wheel sizes, @mtg . The 3mm offset rear 148x12 allow a standard crankset/spider? will custom geometry options be available for this frame as well? Great jarb guys, keep up the good work!

Yup, boost chainline offset is achieved with a different spider or an offset chainring. I use shimano cranks which don't have replaceable spider, which was why I asked.
