Hi people.

I'm trying to track down a full DH bike with the intent to swap over it's parts onto a frame I have. Am hoping to find something with a 216x63mm shock, along with the standard 83mm BB and 12x150mm rear hub. This appears to a rare combination.

Perhaps I would be best off buying a shock separately, but thought I'd ask which bikes have a 216x63mm rear shock.

Cheers

I'm with 'woo. Sell your shock to someone who actually needs it and buy the bike you want.

Thanks for the info. I already have a frame - It needs a shock of that particular size. It sounds like I'll have to find one separately to a donor bike. Weak!

Oh. I'm confused then. You wanted to buy another frame just to steal the shock off it?

You can short-shock a Highline, but you will run into some other clearance issues on bottom-out (unless you're running pinner tires)
Mine worked great for two years. Still is as far as I know.

The last two years they were sold, they came with an 8.5x2.5

Full on dh tires the whole time.

Not the first gen frame, but those worked too. A buddy of mine had one until recently.
