I'm looking at the 40 float and see that I can get a 2014 for a couple hundred bucks less than the 2015. Are there any major changes between the two? Thanks, EC

In a sense, yes. But Fox took a different approach and put a kashima coating on the first 2/3's of each stanchion, then a regular coating on the last 1/3, so that way it has a natural parking lot plushness for your bros, and automatic progressivity at the end of the stroke when you're slaying VDS. No silly FIT carts and shim stackz needed with this cutting edge technology.

Word on the street is Steve M and Udi collaborated with Fox on the concept design and testing phase.

There are some big changes coming for 2016 which I would expect out mid 2015, air side will be like the new 36, and supposedly dropping 1/2 lb in weight are the 2 big things. Taking all the mechanical bits out of the current and incorporating the same as the current 36" is a big upgrade from what I've heard.

oops i mean the damping changed from 2014 to 2015. i think in 2016 there is a new negative airspring, but that might be a 2015 change, cant remember.
