I have no idea where I am
Because of the progress Thursday, U.S. Forest Service officials reopened trails in the McDowell County section of Pisgah National Forest that had been closed since Tuesday, including the Point Lookout, Kitsuma and Young's Ridge trails.

Hopefully this means there was no damage to Kitsuma.

couldn't be worse than what the roadbuilders/"trail crew" did to it a few years ago...last time I rode there a year or two back nature had started to help...

I remember that happening. I haven't ridden it since they ruined the switchbacks. Back in the day it was bragging rights to clean all those switchbacks at the start. I never made it up all of them. Now I hear anyone can ride'em.

Hopefully the fire didn't damage the trails.
